Partially obscured in the shadow of the canyon, this trail terminates at Garlock Rd.  The Rand Mountains can be seen in the distance.

Pay no attention to that dis-used trail on the hill to the left.

Mojave Desert: Robber's Roost...

This image captures the vastness of the Mojave Desert.  My drone was hovering over the rock formation that is known as "Robber's Roost", when this photo was taken.  Robber's Roost is reputed to be where Tiburcio Vasquez camped in preparation for his robbery of the nearby Freeman stage-coach stop.
