It was a windy, hot day in the Mojave Desert. Earlier this month, I took a drive from Afton Canyon, southwest along the Mojave River bed, and I stopped to launch my drone for some photos.
The winds were gusting up to 45 mph, which is slightly beyond the wind-penetration limit of even the mighty DJI Phantom 4. So, I kept the Phantom low, as I shot a few photos and some video. The video will be posted later.
