Mojave Desert Ruins: The "Sears" cabin...

...was built from packing crates that were obtained from a Los Angeles Sears store, during the 1950's.

This is one of the many cabins that dot the El Paso Mountain range, which was home to prospectors, who first settled here during the late nineteenth century.

Today, many of these cabins are being preserved for use by campers.
