Mojave Desert Ruins...Another cabin...

...in the El Paso Mountains.  The structure on the right is known as the "Edith E." cabin, and campers still sleep there on occasion.

Mojave Desert Ruins...Randsburg, CA.

The town of Randsburg was once a rough and wooly place, and many of the original buildings still stand.

These days, the town caters to tourists- most of whom are off-road drivers who come into town for food and drink.

Mojave Desert Ruins: The "Sears" cabin...

...was built from packing crates that were obtained from a Los Angeles Sears store, during the 1950's.

This is one of the many cabins that dot the El Paso Mountain range, which was home to prospectors, who first settled here during the late nineteenth century.

Today, many of these cabins are being preserved for use by campers.
